I'm (trying) to bring my blog to life after so long.

Lots of things happened and lots of things didn't. Still working at Atlantis, still going to school, still going to lion dance (when needed), still smoking, still drinking, basically nothing big changed in my life.

Watched "Jennifer's Body" just now. My review for the movie.....

Some updates in my life..

Firstly, I would like to bid farewell to one of my good friends. I had no idea what exactly happened but I believe it's too late to ask. Had I been there, maybe I could have helped in one way or another.

Ricky, you had been a great DJ and a great pal too. Your powerful techno spins never failed to get me off my seat. And of cos, man ton thorn. Man bpen enk enk aak aak, man bpen song long sieng lieng, ton leaw mun see sung~ I hope we can meet again at where ever people go when they pass on. RIP my pal..

My smoking license has been successfully approved by the authority. Not a difficult issue since authority smokes too.

The brothers unite after a long period of rehab. It was great chilling together again.

Got to know a couple of new people ever since the brothers went into rehab.

First there's this guy called stephen, who like my good friend gary, doesn't acts and behaves like his age at all. A good thing I would say. Our body can never withstand the test of time but our hearts can!

Then there's also Alvin. Nice dude too. But I thinks he think too much about stuff. Not a bad point, but I don't really like to ponder over stuff. (Although I do it all the time!) Contradicting, I know. But who cares? That's me and I don't think anyone understands. Mostly due to the fact that I don't really understand myself sometimes.

Last but not least, I believe I can do better with more sleep.. Currently working as a temporary admin assistant at Fedex. I need to take a MRT ride which lasts for 1hr+ everyday to work. Tiring but I've no choice. No work = no money. No money = die. How cruel is the world today!!!

It'd been a while since I've posted some photos here. Reason being that my camera was in and out of the canon service center like some 3rd stage cancer patient visiting the hospital.

After making full use of it yesterday at marine parade, my dear Canon IXUS 80 IS was officially pronouced dead. It had been through a lot of tough times with me. One particular incident which I have yet to forget was when some dumb ass had my camera in his pocket and got drenched in water. I'm sure I will never forget the sight of my camera dripping like a soaked sponge.

I guess it's time to save up for the next IT fair to get a new partner that can effectively capture snapshots of my life.

Marine Parade performance, 27 Sep 2009. This is like one of our biggest performance all year. With the full presence of lions, dragons and big flags, it felt like chinese new year came early. And with a strange twist of fate, I was involved in practically everything! Dragon, dragon pearl, lion, big flag and instruments. My reaction was like "HUH?!"

Total strength = 5 lions, 2 dragons (one is our 18men chingay dragon)and 2 big flags.

That's me on the big flag. Well, or rather the big flag in my mouth. Sadly, I failed to swallow it as planned.

And me on the pearl which made me went "WTF is going on now?"

Before I end, let me introduce you to the mini monster of SDLAA. He jumps, he screams, he howls and he just loves to mess things up. He's pretty cute at some times, but I am positive that he has too much sugar in his blood. His hyperactive level is at 500%? Even the best athletes need some rest. But no, not this little man! Watch him jump, run, dances and groove non-stop. I'm sure he has a bright future as a marathon runner.

I can almost see the headlines now - SINGAPOREAN RUNS NON-STOP FOR 24HOURS, AND HE IS STILL RUNNING!!

To achieve that, all you need to do is to dangle a lion head in front of him and hear him go "sai sai sai". Sai(1) is lion in the hokkien dialect. But of course, he successfully pronouced it as sai(4) which means shit.

Pidtermyai Huajai Wawoon aka "Hormones". The literal meaning of the Thai title means something like restless hearts during school break. A romantic comedy that reaches out to the hearts of young people like me. It's different from your mainstream romance movies. , I am able to relate closely from the way this movie showcases the lives of its characters. Maybe because of the fact that this movie is about teenage romance? O.o After watching it, I find myself looking at romance movie in a different light. You guys should give it a try!

CNY is coming!! It's gonna be the OX year.. Hmm. 1 more day to chu xi aka 年三十. 團圓飯!! =D

Kind of miss the good old steamboat 團圓飯.. For the past few years it've been dinner at restuarants cos apparently everyone finds it too troublesome to cook! This year is the same.. Except for the location. Gonna have it at the Yew Tee swimming complex there.

Then it'll be dong dong chang dong dong chang! The action started today. (but i wasn't there) Then we're having photo-taking + dotting of dragon for chingay tmr. (: Shall post up photos of the completed dragon. Then on chu xi, gonna be performing at some temple at night! 10+++pm... Shall be after my 團圓飯.

Welcome to economic recession 2009! We have to even 省省省 on the decorations. Recycle, Reuse and Reduce! Haha. Turning a christmas tree into a CNY decor? Easy, add some CNY colors and some lion heads -.- WONDERFUL!!! Hahaha.

I tried this Colt 45 today. It's this premium strong beer (6.5% alcohol) that sucks balls. But it's damn cheap though. Going at $1.95/can at cheers. IT"S NOT WORTHED IT!!!! Totally sucked! LEO BEER is muchhhh better! LEO BEER is a product of Khon Khaen, Thailand, and is extremely good/heavenly/fantastic/nice!!! It's my favourite now (:

Previewing the dragon's head for this year's Chingay Parade. The general concept for this year's Chingay will be a more 3D approach.. Instead of imprinted 2D scales on the dragon body, it will be 3D that can lift off and "fly" with the wind. In other words, 離體.

第三屆古來IOI廣場馬新競技龍交流賽已圓滿地結束了。龍八的我對這次的比賽成績還感到挺滿意的。沒有第一，至少還有第二！大家不能放棄，需要再加努力！對，人家用的是B隊。但我們的龍頭之一也只不過練了2-3個小時。成績已經不錯了！要朝好的一面去想！(:

The buffet basically more high class and more hygienic than others. Got your seafood, shrooms, meat, vege etc. The prawns are very nice and fresh. The meat got Q-Q de texture. The pig liver the best! Haha. Howeverrr, the main point is still XIAOLONGBAO!!

21 of us had a total of 41long of xiaolongbao. The above is only 10long. Power power~

Spent the last few days watching 籃球火 (Hot Shot) at home. The storyline/plot was not exactly that good. But overall it's still an enjoyable drama series with it's exaggerated comical antics that will bring you laughter.

The other thing to look out for is the beautiful cast. The two that caught my attention are 周采詩 and 蔣怡.

Had training.. Quite boring. Dunno why is everybody so tired and strength-less. Hmmm.... Went to find gary and co. at lor16 after that. Talked a while, then Gary, WH and I went off to celebrate the end of common tests wheras the others pang seh us..

Reached zouk around 1130.. Phuture totally full, leaving us with zouk. Jeremy and co. inside already. So just go in. Went kopitiam to wack 1 bottle of tiger each to pa-kick. A weird guy came to talk to us. Totally dunno what weird shit he's saying.

Our "chop" cost 28 bucks :(

Went straight to the bar to get our complimentary drinks as the tiger did not have much effects. Had 2 gin tonic each. Glup glup... Not much effects either. Drunk-o-meter = 2%

But the music dont appeal to me. Boom Boom Boom Boom, like dunno ah.. Haha. Danced a little, shaked a little. Saw someone who looked like he's having fits rather than dancing.

This uncle got the whole podium to himself and he's really enjoying the attention he's getting.

Updates on my school life... Seriously. 5 weeks have passed without me realising. Like time really flies. Haha. My modules for this semester totally sucks to the core. I have not much interest in most of them.

However, there's one that I actually enjoyed. Building Information Modelling (BIM). Basically, you use a program called Revit to make a model of a building. Damn fun.. Hahaha.

From nothing but beams and columns to a whole complete building with interior designs!

Check out the interiors!! Ok la... Haven ready moved on to that stage yet... Just managed to do interior walls and toilets. Hahaha.

I guessed I had too much fun AFTER dinner. Let's see, training was supposed to be from 8.00 - 10.30pm.. I was at boat quay at 11.30pm.. Met up with gary before that at around 10pm..

WHOA! Technically I can still attend 1/2 hour of training if I insisted on going. I'M SO SORRY!! I should have gone for training T.T

Eh fuck, so I lied. I lied that I could not attend the WHOLE OF TRAINING when I could have attended like 30minutes of it.

Everyone was really very near-to-the-max thanks to Gary!! He kept "ta"-ing with ppl. Slowest still must drink 1 more mug. Those who reject "ta"-ing with him are labelled as "ball-less" aka "bo ji"

After we finally got a table, we had chivas. Which finished damn fast also. Halfway, heng went behind to "merlion". Not once, not twice, but thrice! Huat ah~

Basically I think we all enjoyed? Fun fun fun fun. But no drunk la... No drunk. Hahahs. To escape from being drunk at dolphin, I sneaked off to JIU TAN LING.

Rain and co. were there. Too bad they staying until like 2am only. It's a friendly friday night for them. Hahaha. Went there cos the CZ wanted to introduce her bf to me. I can't rmb his name already. =P But I rmb him being a "cap" guy. Always wear cap de.

Walked past this place a lot of times but never went in. It was my first time! Their house beer is lipmin's favourite Asahi. Jap beer. Then their tower damn cute leh. Like some UFO like that. Round round de. Forgot to snap a photo of it though =\

Sua tiew to Boat Quay around 4. Went this place called dunno what. I shall name it pub cmi. It's just beside Amber21.

Really is pub cmi sia. The chair teng kok kok one. Sit till my butt jiak mak mak. Then hire de waitress worse than 馬婆. Then customer service also like cmi de. Give wrong bill some more. *shakes head*

This 3 piglets are very cute. They have many different uses too. Not only does it serve as a ornamental object, it can be used as a mini cushion, weapon, handphone holder. Best of all, can serve as a fake boob! Very multi-purpose~

After that, went to the zi char beside dolphin to eat late supper/early breakfast. I drank green tea nia. Very full, can't eat. Then went to take bus with kaka. Haha, very tired sia.
