Taiwanese getai singer. I find that he is very good-looking and talented. He is able to sing in both a male's pitch and female's pitch. Nope, he is not a ah gua, transexual or what. He is a 100% normal male.

Due to his unique talent, he is able to dress in drag and be a "complete woman". Ever seen those ugly drag queens with a husky hoarse voice? He is nothing like that. In fact, I find him quite beautiful in drag. Plus his ability to sound like a woman.. It's really extraordinary.

This again showed how big and complex the internet is. It's ability to hold so many things is indeed spectacular. Afterall, it is simply a network that joins computers worldwide together. It is something dead, yet so alive.

So awesome but scary at the same time. Just imagine what would happened if D-day take place in the cyber world. With the ever increasing number of internet addicts... With the ever increasing reliance on the internet...

I think the end result would be worse than D-day in real life. =\

Andy Lau vs. Ekin Chen




Personally I feel that Andy Lau is a better artiste overall. But Ekin Chen is more suited to roles like this. Maybe it's because I'm used to him being a gu wak zai (gangster). Andy Lau seems to be too nice to be bad. He is just not fierce enough compared to Ekin Chen.

That does not mean that he doesn't act well. It's just that some people are more suitable for certain roles . Like how I still prefer Pierce Brosnan being James Bond and Jet Li being Huang Fei Hong. Ekin Chen is the gu wak zai!

1 month and 3 weeks before I can go get my license. Why bike and not car? Some people thinks that riding a bike = no xing xiang (no image), very dangerous, not good.


There's just some things that a bike can do but a car can't.

Life is so short! Do what you want before you regret. By the time you regret, you're either too old or too sick or too poor. I would believe it's "too poor".

Looking at the rate that the inflation is going. And the rate that our wonderful government is trying to raise the standard of living. In future, the poor will get poorer and the rich, richer. The middle class will forever be trying to pay off everlasting bills.

Watched The Incredible Hulk today. It's not as incredible as it sounds. Too much of the "boom boom boom" aka noise.

The effects, fighting scenes etc were good. The plot was still ok (continued from the first movie). But it just didn't appeal to me. Hahha. I think looking at the face of the person beside me was better than watching the movie =P

Went to K-Box's K-lunch today. Honestly speaking, the peanuts and beans given at other times are so much nicer than their lunch bento!!!!!!! And the service is not very good. The sofa is lacking cushion. *shakes head*

The Unagi Bento

Talking about Unagi bento. Gary, Liying and I ordered Unagi while Liping ordered Chicken. From what the waitress said, we can safely assume that we will get what we order. This is because she said,"Ok, I'll help you book your bento and put it aside until you are hungry. If not it may run out of stock later."

Guess what!!!!!!!! It did ran out of stock in the end. Hence Liying and I did NOT get what we wanted. It sucked sucked sucked totally. We had chicken bento instead. The rice is too hard, mushroom is too tasteless, fruits too dry, chicken is too stale and octopus is too tough!

Tingyan joined us after our "wonderful" lunch. Haha, drank kopi =D and played poolllll.

Omg, you know last time when I played with this Liping. She totally noob de. Today, she is like the crouching tiger hidden dragon. Super pro la! I wonder where she go to train! Must be cut hair liao, then become chio then skills also improve. Hahaha.

Went X-Zone and got Mr Wukong (above)

Used 3 tries for Mr Wukong. I wanted to get the Black Guy one. I forgot his name, also from Dragon Ball. However, Ms Tingyan thinks that Wukong is cuter because got tail. Hahaha. Biased lo! Maybe if I tried for the black guy I wouldn't need 3 tries =P

Hahaha, I played 5-10 at a coffeeshop for the first time. Actually I quite reluctant, then I saw Gary and Liping play until so fun. Then I also don't care how people around look at me liao. Hahah. But imagine playing this kind of things at a coffeeshop -_- and that Tingyan siao siao hor. Pool improve so much, the 5-10 also keep winning me!! *haix*

神雕侠侣 - The Return of the Condor Heroes

My favourite novel/tv-drama! The novel was first published in 1959. Coincidentally, Longshi is also founded in 1959.

For the minority that have never watched the drama or novel before. It's a story on Yang Guo (an orphan) and Xiao Long Nü (his lover and teacher). It's one of the earliest teacher-student love relationship!! Hahaha.

Frankly speaking, if you have not watched 神雕侠侣 before, you ought to be very ashamed!!! There are a total of 7 drama adaptations and 1 anime adaptation. That's a total of 8!

I've only watched 2 version though. Namely the Mediacorp version and the recent CCTV version. I preferred the CCTV version though. It's somewhat nicer.

But 2 version only?? It's not enough!!!! I'm looking for the other versions, particularly the TVB versions. There're 2 of them - 1983 (Andy Lau) version and 1995 (Louis Khoo) version. I've heard that the 1995 version is the best!!! Like seriously, listen to the theme song.

We should've deserved much better.

Accidents do happen and we cannot really blame anyone. Judges aren't really fair but we cannot do anything. Well, those people who were present would be able to see who are the actual winners.

I feel sad not only for ourselves but for the runner-up too. They should've won!! Well, nothing is fair.

Let's hope we'll do better next time. Before time runs out.

Dumpling Festival is coming. There're some celebration thing going on at waterloo street. And I saw this.


How came about Dumpling Festival....

And what the hell does that mean? *shakes head* It's so embarassing when some tourist came up to look at the board, before walking off laughing.



Furthermore this Dumpling Festival event is organized by gahmen and supported by Uniquely Singapore. They do not have people who speak proper english over at the Community Center?

Well, you can argue that the organizer are not in charged of putting up these decorations and stuff. But shouldn't there be some quality control officer? Like he would be on site during the setting up of the boards, tents etc. And that "How came about Dumpling Festival" mistake should have been corrected there and then!

Talk about "Speak Good English"...............
