CNY is coming!! It's gonna be the OX year.. Hmm. 1 more day to chu xi aka 年三十. 團圓飯!! =D

Kind of miss the good old steamboat 團圓飯.. For the past few years it've been dinner at restuarants cos apparently everyone finds it too troublesome to cook! This year is the same.. Except for the location. Gonna have it at the Yew Tee swimming complex there.

Then it'll be dong dong chang dong dong chang! The action started today. (but i wasn't there) Then we're having photo-taking + dotting of dragon for chingay tmr. (: Shall post up photos of the completed dragon. Then on chu xi, gonna be performing at some temple at night! 10+++pm... Shall be after my 團圓飯.


Welcome to economic recession 2009! We have to even 省省省 on the decorations. Recycle, Reuse and Reduce! Haha. Turning a christmas tree into a CNY decor? Easy, add some CNY colors and some lion heads -.- WONDERFUL!!! Hahaha.


I tried this Colt 45 today. It's this premium strong beer (6.5% alcohol) that sucks balls. But it's damn cheap though. Going at $1.95/can at cheers. IT"S NOT WORTHED IT!!!! Totally sucked! LEO BEER is muchhhh better! LEO BEER is a product of Khon Khaen, Thailand, and is extremely good/heavenly/fantastic/nice!!! It's my favourite now (:


Lastly, don't you think that this picture looks so.... Erm.... Interesting? Hahah. I took it during NPMC (noise pollution monitoring control). We were measuring some noise stuff. Totally boring. Hahah. We vandalised the poor workbench with chalks. =D

Hmm.. Ox year Ox year, hope it will be a good year! Huat ah~!




Previewing the dragon's head for this year's Chingay Parade. The general concept for this year's Chingay will be a more 3D approach.. Instead of imprinted 2D scales on the dragon body, it will be 3D that can lift off and "fly" with the wind. In other words, 離體.








第三屆古來IOI廣場馬新競技龍交流賽已圓滿地結束了。龍八的我對這次的比賽成績還感到挺滿意的。沒有第一，至少還有第二！大家不能放棄，需要再加努力！對，人家用的是B隊。但我們的龍頭之一也只不過練了2-3個小時。成績已經不錯了！要朝好的一面去想！(:


Everyone was really tired that morning. Blame it on chingay and last minute changes. But we were all relaxed though. We even went to the arcade for a round of daytona before competition started.

我對自己的表現感到有點失望。這應該是所謂的“沒form” 吧。非常不小心地犯了些不該犯的失誤。還好不明顯哦，不然真是不知如何面對隊友們。但到最后，我們還是保持了第二名位置，沒進沒退。

24th December 2009 - Christmas Eve Celebrations

Around 10 of us met at Bugis for steamboat. Hmm.. LA MEI ZI!! Hahahaha. Nice name right? But there don't have la mei waitress ):


Ok.. It doesn't really look appetizing. But it's delicious =O!!

After steamboat, we walked to boatquay.. Slacked around, drank a bit. And had the lamest+crappiest christmas countdown. Then slacked more, drank more and home!

Had gathering with venturez'06. Exciting exciting.. Sky gave us a huge treat at Crsytal Jade (holland v). Ate the buffet.. FREE FLOW XIAOLONGBAO! Huat ah~


不吃會后悔!


The buffet basically more high class and more hygienic than others. Got your seafood, shrooms, meat, vege etc. The prawns are very nice and fresh. The meat got Q-Q de texture. The pig liver the best! Haha. Howeverrr, the main point is still XIAOLONGBAO!!


21 of us had a total of 41long of xiaolongbao. The above is only 10long. Power power~

NO SMOKING EVERYWHERE IN 2009!!!

Yup, it's true. You can't smoke almost everywhere this year. Haha. Does that mean that the government dont want you citizens to smoke? ABSOLUTELY NO!!!!

Seriously, the government loves you to smoke. There's about $8 of tax imposed on ONE packet of cigerattes. Imagine the amount of income our Pay And Pay gahmen can earn from cigerattes?
